MISSION Horses are my life. It has been a Journey that is profound in every
way. I continue to learn from them every day of my life. What I learn, I bring
    to my students.

The horse is our greatest teacher. I am a student of the horse. It is my goal to
facilitate and support each of my students and their horses learning, connection
and FUN no matter what their goals. It is my wish to keep intact the horses’
true nature and spirit in his training so that he may always bring his heart and
    desire to his discipline.

I want you to put aside any notions about English or Western, Hunter, Jumper,
or Dressage, Pleasure or Showing. There is no difference in anyone disciplines
end goal; Connection, Harmony, Communication, Calm, Supple, Athleticism,
Willing Partnership, and Heart. The equipment may be different and there are
small technical and style points to consider, but any good horseman from any
discipline is trying to create the same Partnership. They may be using different
terms but they are speaking the same language to the trained ear. The
exercises, Concepts and Tips you’ll find in this site should be considered
extremely useful for all your Horsemanship goals. They also prioritize fun,
creative, natural exercises you and your horse will enjoy. Why should
performance training be work when it can be play!

I know that it’s not the goal of most people to have issues with their horses,
but, I see far too many struggling with their equine friends.  Farah DeJohnette
Training is about helping horse owners everywhere improve their relationships
with their horses and bringing fun to your Horsemanship.

Integrative Horsemanship is a Philosophy. As opposed to a technique. It is much
more about how we approach a horse with whatever we may bring to him. It
is a blend of Natural Horsemanship, Dressage foundation training, Balanced seat
riding, Yoga Principles and FUN! Combining these methods, in my opinion, is
blending the best of the best. There are clearly hundreds probably thousands of
ways to train horses. Some are good some are bad. Mine is just one way and it
relies on the most important opinion of all, my horses'. He has to work with me
and his happiness is as important as my own. I can’t make him care about
Jumping or Reining or Trail riding. I can develop a desire in him to participate
willingly and confidently with me in whatever tasks or goals I set. If our
connection, relationship and joy are the foundation, there is virtually nothing
we can't do together. I believe that is the partnership that we all seek.
