Virtual Clinic and Clinic Highlights
Welcome to the Clinic Highlights and Virtual Clinic Area. When possible, You will be able to check out the highlights of
actual clinics. What is a Virtual Clinic you ask? It's where you send in your digital photos, video or links to video
(Youtube or similar is ok too) of you and your horse working together and I will Critique it. You get the added benefit of
seeing other peoples feedback as well. So it's really like a mini clinic online!
Your Virtual Clinic submissions can be English or Western, Hunt Seat, Dressage, Equitation, Basic riding or Ground work.
Please shoot side/profile views and make sure the photo or video files are small enough to post on the site (I can do
this for you if you email or send it to me on disc). Indicate Virtual Clinic in the subject of the email.
This was my first time visiting "Shyne" since Barbara bought him. I came down to give her and some of her friends an
introduction to Natural Horsemanship and Ground Training.
Here I'm demonstrating how to
get a horse to Lead at your
shoulder on a loose lead and
follow your every movement
without any pulling.
Here Barbara's giving it a try.
Here I'm disengaging Shyne's hind
quarters to get him to turn and
face me.
Here Barbara is practicing
Natural Longeing.
This was Washstone's first Jumping Clinic. Everyone learned a lot and had a good time. Sorry the pictures were a
bit poor in quality due to being indoors.
Here I'm starting out over a
ground pole to illustrate how I
want a horse to be relaxed and
calm at this exercise before I
jump. I want her to step over,
not jump the pole. I am riding
Jean Liddy's My Lovely Starr. A
green Jumper.
Standing explaining some of the
main components of jumping.
Demonstrating proper riding
position over the fence.
Balance on the landing side of a
fence.
